6 month mark

Well this week we made some good progress with our investigators, nothing that really shows up in numbers or anything but we noticed some big steps forward.  We have 3 families that we are focusing on now.  The furthest along is the Lopez family, who has finally started to keep their commitments to read the Book of Mormon.  That is the thing we felt they were lacking, so we focused alot on the Book of Mormon with them this week and I feel this next week they will have a strong enough testimony to really prepare themselves for baptism.  We also are teaching Ilse and Miguel still.  Miguel has been to church for a month straight now, and hes starting to work back into the ward.  Ilse still has doubts, but we had a really powerful lesson on families with them and now she too has started keeping the committments better.  We are helping them make a plan to get to the temple after they read the Family Proclamation.  I'm really excited for them, its only a matter of time before Ilse joins the church.  She was already asking us about having her baby be joined into the church and things like that.
Another family we just found this week,  and I didn't even meet them.  We did intercambios that day so I was working in Puerto Varas while our DL came to Alerce. We have an appointment with them this week and they already have several friends in the church so I'm sure they will be very friendly with us.
I forgot my camera this week at home, I'll have some pictures for you guys next week.  We had a ward activity and did some other fun stuff so I do have a few pictures
Love you guys, Elder Price

We made some ties today, they weren't bad for our first ones from scratch.  I'll have to keep practicing at that.
The week was pretty good, we were really busy because there was a funeral in the ward and also an activity during the weekend so we were going non stop all week.  We got a lot done though, it was pretty good.  So we usualyl have lunch with a member around 2, before that we do all the studies and daily prep stuff we have.  We also sometimes have service in the mornings too.  Then we just start to work, we have at least one appointment every day, its really nice to be busy.  Usually we can teach our investigators twice a week.  They're getting pretty close to baptism, the other elders in Alerce have a baptism this week and I feel like if some of our investigators go to that they will be helped a ton.
Those pictures look like you guys had a ton of fun, I bet that was great.  Its nice to see everyone happy like that
Love, Elder Price
