9 Week cambio

We had another good week this week, the numbers were not as high but we made good progress with our investigators and got a new one.  We are really close to having two investigators with a baptisimal date now.  I think by the time I write next week we could have up to three!  I'm not sure which investigators I've been writing about so I'll just do a quick review on all of them we have now.  

Monica is our investigator with a date right now, we will finish teaching her everything this week and she might move her date forward a little bit so Elder Greenwood can be here for it. 
Rosa is another great lady, she really loves the church and shes pretty smart too.  She likes to have us over, it just takes a very long time to get to her house so we can't go very often.  We plan on inviting her to be baptized this week.  

Ilda is the mother of Monica.  Shes a very nice old lady and she likes what we teach.  We invited her to be baptized a few days ago and she said she had to talk with her son about it.  

Blanca is Ricardo Gonzalez's mom, and she has been doing well.  We couldn't get her to church or see her this week but we stopped by to set up an appointment.  Ricardo as well has been doing well.  He's reading and praying again, but he still cant make it to church.  

Its awesome, we've been working great.  We are not getting changed this cambio, but I will definitely have a new companion in December.  Until then we'll keep up the good work.

 

Letter to mom...

 

 Missionaries have been in Lago Ranco for quite some time, so everyone's used to seeing two gringo's walking around.  Most of them are not all that happy to see us.  The kids around town know the elders pretty well, they usually play some soccer or basketball with them here and there.  We're pretty famous over in one part of town for our soccer.  

Most P-days we go to Osorno and play some sports in the stake center and then go look around in the mall.  We haven't gone on any hikes or anything because it is always raining on Mondays.  

The members do our laundry, but now we might switch to doing it at the matrimonio's house since they have a washer and dryer.  They're from Idaho, I don't know where.  They're still working on settling in, its quite a change  for them. 

Its weird that Marci's getting married, she doesn't seem that old yet.  I bet its quite the interesting thing to set up and plan for you guys. And I do have pictures, I'll send them once they finish downloading on the computer.
